DIY Sharpie Painted Mugs Craft Supplies Needed

Sharpie Painted Mug Craft Supplies:

* Patently White Mugs – 1 per DIY Christmas mug arts and crafts {I found mine for each for $1 at Dollar Tree}
* Oil Based Sharpie Paint Pens
* Scrapbook Letter Stickers
* Electrical Oven
* Rubbing Alcohol
* Several Q-tips

FYI – if you tin't notice a sticker similar I used in my mail service, you lot can e'er invest in a Cricut maker machine and cut it that way :-)

First place your desired sticker on the mug Next, using the Sharpie paint pen, start making small dots all around the letter sticker keep making dots all around the sticker until it's nice and full When done with the painting step, carefully remove the sticker to reveal your design

How To Paint Your Mugs:

  • To do a monogram blueprint you will need some letter scrapbook stickers. Pick the monogram/design you want and stick it on your mug. I did a "K" for our terminal name.
  • You will want to make sure it'southward in the right identify/bending etc. and as Flat as possible on the mug. No edges should be lifting up on the mug.
  • Next you will want to make dots ALL around the scrapbook sticker. Follow the directions on the marker packaging to go the paint going. Do some practice dots on some cardboard earlier paw so you know how much pressure to put downward.
